Hey all! Next week I’m heading out to the Jersey Shore. I would make a bunch of reality-show-related jokes here but I’m actually very proud to say I’ve never seen a single minute of the show, Jersey Shore, and I’m sure all the locals will be happy to hear that I have no expectations because of it! This will be my first time visiting the Jersey Shore and I am SO excited!
I’ll be doing a series of school visits and one public signing. If you live in the area, I hope I get to meet you!
I’ll be visiting: Neptune Middle School, Neptune High School, Manasquan High School, and Point Pleasant Beach High School. And I’ll be doing some really fun surprise giveaways at each school!

The Jersey Shore (or New Jersey in general) is nothing like how the New York-centric media portrays it — unless they’re secretly dropping Staten Island ‘guido’ trash onto our beaches and boardwalks to infiltrate it and make us look bad. Oh, wait. That’s exactly what they’re doing! Glad you’ve managed to stay away from that godawful show.
On a lighter note, I’m an aspiring author who stumbled on your website via an announcement from the Page International Screenwriting Awards and I’ve found your writers’ advice/tips/tricks very helpful. The hardest part for me is getting in that ‘zone’ — finding a routing and sticking to it no matter (damn you, A.D.D.!) — but it’s always encouraging to hear/read about people who have gone through the same things and succeeded.
