My Favorite (Sigh-Worthy) Books of All Time…So Far

Hi All! Very happy to be done with the election so we can get back to talking about the really important stuff…BOOKS!

So I realized the other day that every so often, a book comes along that completely and fully seizes me. I mean, it takes over my life, my heart, my soul, everything. They are few and far between but when you do stumble upon one, it’s like magic. For me, these books stay with me so long after I finish them. And I always know I’ve come across one when I hear someone mention the title of the book a few weeks or months after I’ve read it and I literally sigh with the memory of it. Not squeal (because I have a list of those books too) but SIGH. Because they were that magical to me. Because I actually envy the person who gets to read it for the first time.

And since I was just fortunate enough to finish one, I was inspired to start a list. So here it goes: My Favorite (Sigh-Worthy) Books of All Time…so far. In no particular order:

1) THE SKY IS EVERYWHERE by Jandy Nelson

2) ROOM by Emma Donoghue

3) THE TIME TRAVELER’S WIFE by Audrey Niffenegger

4) THE HELP by Kathryn Stockett

5) WINTERGIRLS by Laurie Halse Anderson

6) THE CHOSEN ONE by Carol Lynch Williams

7) THE HUNGER GAMES by Suzanne Collins

So what about you? What are your favorite sigh-worthy books?
