Joanne Rendell is the author of three novels for adults—The Professors’ Wives’ Club, Crossing Washington Square, and Out of the Shadows—published by New American Library/Penguin. She holds a PhD in English Literature and has taught (and is extremely passionate about) literary classics, such as Hugo’s Les Misérables. Joanne writes essays and interviews for the Huffington Post and other publications.
